Attorney Regina Williams Regina Williams works with complex family law matters including divorce, domestic violence, child custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution. |
I am a native of Emporia, Virginia, a small town near the border of North Carolina and Virginia. I attended and received my bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Shortly after, I began my law school career at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia and received my Juris Doctor degree.
My passion for family law began when I took the family law course during law school. The summer before graduating, I pursued a family law internship with a small law firm in the Charlotte area. It is my desire to obtain the best outcome for my clients, while also keeping in my mind what is in the best interest of the children. My desire to practice family law is fueled by my personal family background. I, too, am a child of divorce and experienced the family dynamic of growing up in two different households. I am able to empathize with my clients from this perspective and also from being a parent myself.
My husband and I live in the Charlotte area with our new baby girl and our dog, Twix. I am a huge foodie so I enjoy trying new restaurants with my family on the weekends. I also enjoy being outdoors, taking walks around the neighborhood and working out outside when the weather is nice.
